New Version 1.9.0.1.
A new version of MagniBar 1.9.0.1. has been issued today. If you are currently using an older version there are two reasons why you should download the new version. In a few days version 2 will be issued which will include several new features, but you have to install 1.9.0.1. before you can upgrade to version 2. Secondly there are a couple of new features with the new version.
The original purpose of MagniBar was to allow you to store your desktop icons on the bar. With all the new software that is being included there is less and less room, so a second bar has been added. Hide this second bar by clicking the "2" at the top. Just below the Password Locker you will see a new FreebieSeeker button. This opens a search window in Google for all sorts of freebies from games and music to free credit reports.
With version 2 there will be buttons for Video of the Day, MagniMailer, Quick Clean Button, Scripture of the Day, AdTrakker, People Trakker, Business Bar, Quick Audio and QuikCrypt. I'm particularly looking forward to the Quick Audio which is described as "One-click Audio recording".
Finally please note that MagniBar is Vista compatible, but on Vista you MUST install while 'logged in' as ADMINISTRATOR! No need to uninstall a previous version first.
