Giveaway of the Day

The old Update blog had a widget that displayed the Giveaway of the Day software for each day. I have now added this widget into the sidebar. For anyone who has not heard of this before, the scheme allows you to download for free a software program for which you normally have to pay. The catch is that you have to install the program on the same day. Obviously you will not want every program that is offered , but it is worth checking each day since there are some useful pieces of software that are included.

The main purpose of this blog is to notify you of new versions of MagniBar as and when they are issued. As you will see there has been no mention of any revisions since I created this on Blogger. At one time there were new versions on almost a daily basis, but things have now settled down and version 1.8.0.4. has been current for several weeks. Rest assured that when there is a change it will be announced here.
